Jerome High School was an essential part of my development. I loved most of my teachers and was treated very well. However due to how rural it is the education is not very good. If you want to get far in life you have to take things into your own hands and learn how to do it yourself. They don't help you with college very well, you have to take that initiative. If I were to change one thing I would make it so they make sure the students understand college deadlines and how to apply for colleges and outside scholarships.

I would like to see more emphasis put on school safety. Also more emphasis put on the football program and the school lunch program . The lack of school funds means that the district can't keep teachers because the pay is so bad. Classroom sizes are way to big and students do not get the one on one attention they need

The best thing about Jerome High School is the opportunity they give many high school students to take dual credit classes and have it get paid for by Advanced Opportunities. The worst part about Jerome High School is the lack of good communication between students and administrators, who are constantly being unheard or turned down.
