I have had a large amount of opportunities afforded to me in my high school. I have been able to take several AP exams, be involved in many clubs and participated in sports all year round. Our faculty goes above and beyond for students. Our population is diverse which I feel will prepare me for the real world.

Johnson City High School is a school full of spirit. For the most part everyone is friendly, the teachers are very supportive and want nothing but the best for their students. Our Music department is amazing and our athletes are so dedicated to their sports. We have many students in AP and dual credit classes; we have a wide variety of elective classes and clubs to suite everyone. At the end of the day we're all family and support eachother.

I absolutely loved going to JCHS! I have heard that recently it has been going down hill, but if I could go back I would in a heartbeat!

Bullying, fighting, and disrespect has become rampant in recent years. Administration tend to minimise or ignore these issues. However, many teachers are wonderful. They are caring, supportive, and knowledgeable in their assigned subject matters. This school also has a great music/ fine arts program...

I think that Johnson City is the best district in the triple cities. My four children attend, one graduated and one is to graduate this June, two are in middle school. The staff are very caring and supportive from my experience. It seems very safe and secure.
