School favoritism among students when it comes to punishments. Disrespectful staff and teachers to both students and parents. Lack of consistency with the teachers on school work and grading. Unfilling lunches, sometimes students go without food because there's "no more" food.

Josephinum gives me a safe space and gives me a reason to attend everyday. I enjoy how homely it is and yet very challenging

I recently graduated in 2022, and it's been a rough couple of years. The schedule has never remained the same, and there's always a lot of confusion between faculty/students. The students aren't listened to very often, and the teachers are usually stressed as well. However, most of the teachers are very cooperative and I really looked forward to that this year.

Josephinum is a school unlike any other. It s a place where a girl can come to learn without holding back because of male distractions. The teachers really care about how we learn and where we are. Though unsure of the school at first, I came to love it and can t imagine being anywhere else.

Josephinum Academy is a special place for young women. The academics, attention and love shown to the girls is not found in the majority of high schools, especially in Chicago. My daughter is a freshman and I find that she has begun to blossom, finding her voice and expressing leadership. She was ex...

I don't even know where to begin with Josephinum Academy! For it being my freshmen year, I am in love with The Jo! For me, the best part are the young teachers. Because of the fact that they're a bit younger than the "average-aged teacher," they relate to us a lot, which has been very helpful. The t...
