I've been a Joshua ISD student for most of my life now, and honestly, I'm proud to call myself a Joshua Owl. Sure, many students will point fingers at the higher ups for adding a new rule each year that limits what they wear (even though I've seen a lot of students who warrant these rules being made) and last year, some major announcements I never heard until close to the date of the event, but overall, I still like this school and this district. It has what I need education wise, and the staff has helped me learn these subjects the best way I can.

My experience with joshua highschool is a very good one it is a very good academic school, the teachers are nice and very helpful in teaching and the extracurricular activities are very fun. I am in the soccer team and the team is a family i love my soccer family. The facilities are up to date and are clean I love my highschool.

This school does not care about marginalized kids and they dont kick out the bad kids that beat up kids and sell drugs and smoke them to.

It looks like they've corrected the rating system to account for schools that have separate facilities for their 9th grade. Joshua High School is a fantastic school. I'm happy to see that it's rating is accurate now.

I have had 4 children graduate from this school. Teachers care about them being successful. There is success in more than sports here. Great AG program, great band, choir and clubs.

The superintendent is a poor leader (former elementary principal who is a micro manager) and the principals have no backbone. The Athletic Director pretty much runs the entire district, makes more than the superintendent (if that tells you anything) and the good teachers leave after a year or two be...
