Class selections aren't as wide reaching, especially for STEM majors but the staff is outstanding because they truely want the students to do well in life. Additionally, many of the staff have more than just teaching roles and make as many sacrifices as our parents do for our well being.

Honestly, it's pretty good. You will know everyone, seeing as there are only 170 or so students, freshman-senior. It's like a big family. From what I know, there have been very few problems with bullying. I was never bullied once, in any of the schools in Julian, middle school included. There is a lot of small town pride. I'm still very close with my friends, even after graduating

Since Julian is such a small town you will get to know the staff and faculty outside the classroom. Expect to know the teachers on a friend, coach, or neighbor basis as well as an authoritative, teacher basis.

Most recently, the morale of the students, the lack of unity between the staff, teachers and administration, the decrease in availability of quality classes and the increase of vaping has become detr...

Small town schools have their advantages and disadvantages. I wish the high school, which is a separate district, had the heart and consistency that the Julian Elementary School District had. My family’s educational opportunity thrived there. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the high schoo...
