As a student at Maui High, I feel strongly that the school strives to make each student appreciate their home-- our island Maui. In academics, I believe Maui High is strong in many of the academies that they provide, excelling their largest academy of IET. Aside from academics, I believe one thing I would like to see an improvement on is school spirit.

Thanks to the introduction of having Academies, there's a growing interest in having more career-focused education options, including apprenticeships, technical courses, and certifications in fields like coding, healthcare, engineering, and trades.

The best part is how inclusive everyone is, as if we are one big community. The worst part would have to be the few rude teachers and staff, but it's not too big of a problem.
