Kealakehe is a great environment to learn and get ready for college. However I would say the students need to be move encouraged to learn.

Kealakehe High School has been a great experience for me personally, I have found great connections with my peers and reliable teachers here. But, our school is not without faults, there is definitely still room for improvement. For instance, the school is cosmetically bland and painted dismally which doesn't make for an atmosphere that is very welcoming nor encouraging.

Not much opportunity for students. No effort to get kids leaving with a purpose. Abusive and bad teachers are kept employed with no repercussions for their actions. I would like to see more opportunities provided and replacement of staff members who are complained about.
