My overall experience was great I interacted in multiple sports over my course of years. My high school is a sports school the whole community supports. In school I averaged a 3.3 gpa that I maintained.

Kankakee high school is a school that has very limited resources. They are the type of establishment where they let you know important deadlines and information the very day of the event or the day before. They give you very little time to do things and the curriculum isn't that good. However, they have great resources for seniors and college resources. Kankakee high school needs a change in how they run things. As a senior, i don't know if i'd recommend others come here.

Overall it is a decent high school if you keep to yourself and don't bother the wrong people. I think it would be useful to change a little bit about it though. For example i think the teachers should be a little bit more attentive to their students just in case something is happening behind the scenes. I also think administrators could be a little bit more involved.

This school sucks all of our good teachers are leaving. The two deans who are really good left and one of the best assistant principals left too. The principal and the other assistant principal are not that good. They don't know us students and they can't relate to us. It's like all the people that...

I moved to Kankakee to take care of my grandma who was 90 at the time. I graduated in 2013 but let me tell you it was bad: there was roaches in the lockers and hallways (one time in the classroom), fights in the hallways, and some teachers who didn't care about the students at all. It was worse for...

I have many relatives that have successfully graduated from this school. The parents or students who don't agree with this school are either non-involved in school activities or they just believe anything there children say. KHS is a marvelous school. If your student cares about his/her education an...
