Best part about Barstow is that you are very prepared for college and they make sure you know where you're going and help you get there. It's also very good if you start there young and go every year because you build up great relationships. However it is not worth the money, and some of the teachers should not have jobs there, but due to the high turnover rate if they can keep them they'll sign them to another contract. I would like to see more structure brought back to the school, I.e. nicer clothes, lockers, get rid of upper school meeting and just allow flexes. Barstow is a great school for any rich liberal family who wants their kid to get into college.

I've been with the Barstow School since 7th grade. During my time there I have met amazing people, learned how to study and take tests, become friendly with my teachers, and respect others and their opinions. No school is perfect but I have really enjoyed my time here.

A great school! All of the teachers and staff are committed to their students and families succeeding!! The academics are challenging with just the right amount of rigor. Student support is always available if they need it. We love the Plays and all of the activities and events We love being a Barstow Family.

Choosing Barstow was hands down the best educational decision my husband and I made for our kids. Beautiful school, sprawling campus with lots of updates in the works, and a fantastic supportive family community. We love it!

Do your homework. This school is a for profit school 1st and then they will think about your kid. They ask you to complete an enrollment contract and once you do they got you and they will make you pay for insurance do they can get your money no matter what. They advertise sports and they will strin...
