Really big school and overwhelming. Not very warm or personable. Definitly feels like an "institution" of learning. I don't feel very welcome sometimes as a parent which was not the case at our other school so that's the only thing I don't like.

We were told that this school was superior to some of the surrounding junior highs, but in our opinion, people are just judging a book by it's cover. It's all right. Kind of jealous that our neighbors who live nearby are obsessed with how much they love MPJH and how happy their kids are there. Makes...

I like the teachers and students. As a black student I don't feel singled out. But the principal is cold and impersonal and only interacts when she has no other options.
