GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been at keene high school since pre-K. Keene is a great environment considering other schools. It is a much more calm environment. I like the fact that is a small campus and everyone is always willing to help.

Keene High school has the Cheshire Career Center that is a really cool learning experience. It can also get you college credits which is a very good opportunity that everyone should take advantage of. The fights and lack of discipline is an issue though.

I give a one star only because I had to plus I agree where it states "they give them what is required" ( only.).....BUT NOT WHAT THEY NEED. Special ed students in this school are dismissed emotionally, it's all about the "jocs"......if you have no choice and your child falls into ESE catagory, And y...

The teachers are dedicated and know their subjects. Parents turn out for theatre and music. Yet the staff are undermined by policies (homework does not count toward grade), "study" hall is noisy cafeteria, and a teacher who was punched 2022 needed surgery.

My son is a freshman this year at Keene High and the bullying and violence is out of control. Yesterday the ambulance was there again to recover a student who was beaten by another student. We will not be returning next year since the same people responsible for this unsafe environment were just ree...

I graduated a few years ago and loved my experience at KHS. The staff really helped me love learning, and went out of their way to help me when I needed it. They nurtured my interests, pushed me to succeed, and challenged me to be a better person. I almost went to private school instead of going to...
