I have been at Central High School For 2 years, going on my 3rd year now, I am a Junior. I play sports for the school and one thing that I can say after watching my brother who is an athlete graduate from Central as well, is more help when it comes to being recruited for which ever sport you play.

The best part in my high school experience were the clubs that I was able to join and the art department teachers who continently showed their care for the students, but the worst part of my high experience was probably my freshmen year since it was during covid.

The best parts are being able to see my friends and If your in a sport/ club the practice times for those. The worst parts are that the teachers don't care, it's dirty, and there are fights almost every day. It feels like the learning part isn't the most important part which it should be because it's school but it's not. I'd like to see a change in the teaching and the cleanliness. it's not the best place to learn but it could be better if people tried.

We’ve been incredibly impressed with this high school. The academic programs are strong, the teachers are passionate and supportive, and there are so many opportunities for students to grow—both in and out of the classroom. My son has been challenged, inspired, and well-prepared for the future.

Intentionally excellent is the KISD motto. Very much applied at Central. Advanced curriculum and teachers are first-rate. Staff dedicated and continuously challenging the students. Students can excel in this environment if they choose. KISD budgets are robust and thoughtfully spent.

I absolutely love this school's administration! They have gone above and beyond to help my daughter with problems she's been having. We moved here two years ago & she is a bit different, so I was worried she would be bullied, but it's never happened. In fact she's had nothing but good interactions w...

My daughter is a Sophomore and enjoys her time there. School seems to have a good mix of students and the most of the teachers seem very capable. The environment seems more supportive and positive with more school spirit than the high school I attended growing up on Long Island. Only negative is tha...
