My overall high school experience has been good but there are a couple of things I would change about this school. The school spirit exists but I wish it was more enhanced and people were excited about going to school events.

Going to school at Grand River Prep is nice, throughout my years teachers have always treated me with respect which led me to have a comfortable time at this school.

It's a decent school, the kids are alright and welcoming for the most part. But it feels like that environment where the parents are putting their children in a 'higher level' school program to force them to want to do better for themselves but they just don't want to. The school has moments where it feels like prison, and when it feels like elementary school. The counselors and teachers are some of the best I've had but the way that it's ran and funded makes it feel almost unwelcoming and like you want to just walk out of the building and not come back.

I'm a student here. Just recently, a student expressed his view online that this school is racist, with a picture of the school website. He was suspended for 6 months and accused of hacking the website (which he didn't) because they couldn't suspend him for speaking his opinion. Another student (an...

I have two sons at this school. We have had nothing but a positive experience. I have a student that has an IEP and I am amazed at the support ALL the staff gives him. All students can excel here if they choose. Koree Woodward has been an excellent leader. Grand River has grown under her leadership....
