GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have never felt unsafe at North Huron and have never worried about any sudden violence such as a shooting or simlar dangers. I feel like my school can handle most situations. Bullying is alwyas an issue but little can be done about it because bullies are very good at what they do and so are very hard to pin down. We do not have a school nurse, but the worst issues our school has ever said since i have been attending was an outbreak of the swine flu and strep throat which kept people home and then it eventually passed us. Most issues are resolved quickly with the school administration or kids are sent home.

The teachers are great. They put in so much time and effort for the students. They allow us to get out of class early when we have a lunch-time meeting, and will help us with anything we need. They make sure we know the material were studying, and help us with things we don't understand. They don't give ridiculous or unreasonable tests or quizzes either.
