Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall our experience with Lenoir County Early College High School was fairly decent. The high school section of the school was amazing. The entire staff not only were there to help support each student educationally they also supported each students mental and physical health. A very well rounded structure to keep the students on track academically as well as in the community. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Being in Early College has helped prepare me for the fast-paced classroom environment I'll have to face once I graduate. It has also given me the advantage of completing two years of college, for the cost of nothing. The high school teachers are extremely helpful and willing to offer assistance when they see a student struggling in college classes.

Though I did not enjoy most of my time here due to personal reasons, I rate this school highly because of the support from teachers and the opportunities I was given here. This is a great school for anyone who prefers smaller classes and intends to go to college. Another option is completing an Associate's in a trade, such as Welding (which can allow someone to have a great career and income without debt or going to college for two more years).
