Juanita High School is an overall decent school. They do a good job getting students through high school, but they don't focus on helping students excel. Their main goal is to make sure the students just graduate, and if you are student who is on an accelerated or advanced track, you are overlooked.

Juanita is just a school. It's nothing I'll be raving about but nothing I will degrade either. It's just kind of there. The teachers don't care about the students, at least not visibly. Some do, some real gems do, but those are maybe two out of every year's teachers I get. Actually this year I have like 4 who I really feel like know me. But generally, no.

The diversity is nonexistent; the support for college applications is claimed to exist, and then doesn't; the bullying that goes on is insane; the fights that break out in school is insane. In general, it's not a great school and everyone just leaves and goes to running start to get out.

Bad school overall. Administration is not very good with placing students in their classes. Every single time I sign up for new classes every year I need to double-check with the councilor to make sure I am actually in the class. Food in not suitable for human consumption. I should not feel super de...

Horrible administrative staff. Do not every try to change your class here. Students who tried to change out of a class they did not sign up for were threatened by the administration to either stay in the class, be forced to work in their office as their lacky, or lose class credit. Would not respond...

Would not recommend. Stay away. I will be moving my niece from this school.

JHS and its faculty have seemingly turned a blind eye on a major issue being same-sex harassment. In my freshman year I was repeatedly, albeit on the lower end (but still uncomfortably) touched by the same student almost every day, along with constant gaslighting by other peers that I wasn't resisti...
