School is fine but there's only white kids here and teachers are sorta more strict and not very amusing. Plus they pick in certain kids who are seen as non educational. The food sucks and is soggy and we have no options. The building is dirty and has some bugs but overall the buildings are fine.

Both of my kids have had great experiences at NKMS, and they love their teachers. They are well prepared for high school and beyond! The school communicates well, via emails and texts from the administrators and teachers.

The amount of care and consideration for transitioning children is significant at North. What is normally an awkward and uncomfortable age of adolescence is surrounded in positivity and support. North Kirkwood Middle is not a school I would recommend. Most teachers and staff do not seem to care about the students mental health, and give out a lot of homework that most students cannot get done. Especially in 7th and 8th year, the workload increases, and the pressure too. this puts loads of s...
