GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The small school atmosphere makes students feel welcome and safe. The teachers and administrators know nearly the entire student body by name - even if they're not in their class. There are opportunities for college prep and AP courses. Athletics are very inclusive. The students are very respectful and represent their school very positively at outside events. I'm proud to have my child attend KHS.

I liked how the classes were small and you could personally ask teachers questions but i did not like the lack of diversity. As an African American, it makes me more comfortable around people i can relate to and at my school I only have about 7 other people that are minorities. I also think the lack of diversity does make the other students prone to racism which is very irritating.

Being a small school each student is given individual attention, and creates good helpful relationships with teachers. Knightstown High School is very connected to the community and makes sure all students represent the school in only the best way. School sporting events and other school activities bring the student body together in amazing and exciting way.
