The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Central High School is the best high school you can attend. There's so many clubs and organizations you can join, and you will always feel welcomed at the school, everyone is so welcoming and kind. I hope would hope for the school to be more diverse and for the minor voices to be heard a lot more.

There's a good group of teachers that truly care about furthering students' education, along with other wonderful staff. Precautions for covid -19 have also been taken seriously and enforced by most. There's also a library with a large variety of reading material and constant staff there. The gym has recently been redone and is being taken care of.

It was a very average high school experience all around, but at the same time it was just about everything you could hope high school would be. The teachers are slightly above average, and the athletics is nearly unmatched.

My son had the opportunity to go to CMA as well as STEM however he chose Central and he is doin excellent. He is a high achieving sophomore that is a honor roll student that also takes AP classes. Central deserves a higher score and much more respect than they get.
