Grossmont High School is a great school with lots of opportunities. I participated in both the arts and sports and enjoyed my time in both. The teachers are all welcoming and its easy to get connected.

My engineering, math and band classes gave me purpose every day. My other classes were good, but the teachers teaching my math, engineering and band classes made me want to come to school everyday to do my best.

Grossmont highschool is an extremely diverse campus with lots of different cultural groups. Anybody can find a place to fit into here. There is a place for everyone, no matter what.

In this school we are always supported by our teachers, and have a lovely gifted program. Freshmen are encouraged to pace themselves to prevent burn-out, and to take more challenging classes for themselves in order to improve.

Children are not held accountable for behavior problems in halls or class (ex. Fighting). This is coming from a family member of a child who needs to be held more accountable for actions. I’m told you are not able to wear some colors do to gang activity. Even though ever teacher is a mandated report...

For the years 2010 through 2015, our 2 daughters attended Grossmont High School. Their experience as students, and ours as parents was exceptional. There were plenty of rigorous Honors and AP courses. In fact, our oldest AP tested out of 4 GE college courses. That's like $$ in the bank!We found the...
