As a student of La Mirada High School, I could confidently say that it has it's strengths and weaknesses. Two really strong aspects of LM are it's clubs and faculty. Every club that's established is tight-knit and serve their niche quite effectively. Throughout my time, I was apart of the Esports, Korean [Culture Appreciation], & Asian-American Pacific Islander Club. The faculty, especially the teachers, is the main reason why my time at La Mirada is enjoyable.

The teachers and the staff are good at reaching out and helping me focus on life after high school. The bad parts is sometimes some teachers are not as understanding and considerate as other teachers are. I would like to see more teachers be more considerate on student's mental health.

Teachers and Counselor are caring and helpful. This year they started different clubs to choose from. School located in nice area. They are currently remodeling the fields. The gym was remodeled this year as well. Good sports programs.

It is a safe school where I have made many friends over my 4 years here. The ASB plans a lot of fun events. The school just opened new tennis courts in the fall, the brand new football stadium is going to be open shortly and there will be state of the art facilities for baseball, softball and a prac...

I had an incredible experience going to LMHS. I felt supported by teachers, was in a couple clubs, was in choir and had several friends throughout my experience. I felt like it was a pretty balanced school with opportunities for students to be a part of anything they wanted to try. My parents felt l...

I hate being here. I have never enjoyed a single day doing any of the work that is assigned here. I can't even say that this is a learning environment, as I haven't "learned" anything meaningful. The ONLY thing that makes this school bearable are the friends you make, which is a given at literally e...

The teachers harass students and disrespects them in the worse ways, bringing their self esteem down. I’m writing this review based on the experience my two students had to go through and face with no support from administrators who was more interested in the reputation of the school and covering up...
