When asking "How accepting is the school community as a whole toward....minority group," I think the question should be split b/w the faculty/staff & students. The answer may be very different for most. The students are very accepting. They are curious about differences and typically ask about them rather than tease or bully about them. The faculty/staff are VERY accepting of minorities.

The school has many programs in place to assist students in learning that there is more to growing up than just the "3R's." They are teaching them about caring, sharing, responsibility, accountability, tolerance and more.

La Verne Heights is a fantastic school. My child attended for 6 years from kindergarten to 5th grade and my other 2 children are currently enrolled. The teachers truly care about the students and give so much time and attention to meet their specific needs. It is apparent that the teachers here real...

Overall, due to great teachers, my experience has been great. In regards to the office, it leaves a lot to be desired. If it was not for the administration, my rating would have been a 5.

I am a Parent first, and a teacher in another district first. As such, I can easily recognize great teachers, staff, and unbelievable parent involvement. We have contemplated moving several times but have stayed specifically so our kids can stay at La Verne Heights...which according to district reco...
