The best experience is always being with your friends and having classes with them. Also our sports teams were pretty good so playing sports was enjoyable. The bad parts were teachers picking favorites and not always giving you the help you needed because they were done with school too.

I consistently saw the quality of education and experience at Ladysmith decrease during my enrollment there. What made me saddest was the disregard for the music, art, and drama programs, which were consistently and increasingly cut. The extra curricular activities have neither funding nor participants, which is saddening. However, I was lucky to get in a few good years there before things started going downhill. I still knew many teachers who had a positive influence on my life, and who sincerely cared about the students. I had enough opportunities to give me a well-rounded experience. All in all, it just was my high school experience. There are things I don't remember fondly, but it still got me to where I am today, and I'm thankful to have had the opportunity for public schooling.

I have had an awesome English and History teacher. I am moving toward a degree in English teaching. Those teachers helped me a lot. I was very glad otherwise to finish at this High School and move forward to college.

For a small school, it does the best with what it has, and it's perfectly fine. The high school is very limited in available courses, especially by the time your child reaches their senior year. Most kids have completed all graduation requirements by the end of the 1st semester in 12th grade. They will not allow students who have jobs who have reached required credits to leave...
