Troup High has teachers and staff that care about our kids. The downside to the school is that there are issues with guns being removed from kids several times per year. It doesn't feel safe for your kids to be there at times

My best experiences oat Troup was when Nikki Watts was our principal. She was very fun and made sure we excelled in all things we do. She also made sure we were comfortable and you could talk to her about anything whether it be school related or personal. However my worst experience at Troup was when rumors got spreaded about me. They were false and mediated. Ms.Watts helped me mediate them alongside our police officer (Cadenhead).

The school was great, and the administration really did care about their students in and outside of school. The teachers are very knowledgeable and passionate about their students. The teachers made you feel as if you belonged and meant something when you were at school.

It has been my experience that the teachers have definite steps they are to take to help students improve grades when they fall behind. Most teachers schedules 2 days for tutoring. The have required my students to come in one to study and one day to make up a test.
