My experience with Maui Preparatory Academy with the teachers was overall positive as they always encouraged growth within each student. However my experience with the administration was terrible as they put there own values ahead of the schools needs and took the word of there board of trustees over there actual teachers.

Maui Preparatory Academy decided to have kids take masks off even with high community transmission and caused many many families and kids, all fully vaccinated to come down with covid including grandparents and non vaccinated 1month to 5 years old sibling. Covid 19 is serious disease and Maui Preparatory Academy should take it seriously. In contrast public schools in Maui decided to have mask policy.

I love the community and the overall inclusiveness of students. All faculty and staff are super friendly. The school pushes you academically and actively. Super helpful when it comes to preparing for college.

This school is a sham and a farce. Stay far far away. It treats teachers and families like they are dispensable. I like this school. It has a bunch of choices for extracurriculars, sports, and supplemental learning (the passion projects are great).
