GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Ended up transferring out of this school. There is not a lot of clubs offered and since the town is so small there is always drama. The teachers do care about your education, like they will always offer you to stay 10th and help out. And the building is falling apart inside.

Lake Placid High School is a small, well-rounded school. Due to the small amount of people in it, everyone is friends and engaged with one another. It is the home of the 1980 Winter Olympics and you can tell by the abundance of sports throughout each season.
