all 3 of my daughters have gone to this school and i think Sachem great! cant imagine how or why the ratings would be so low. moving from Nassau, there was a great improvement in the schools system experience

i had 2 daughters go to this school and a third will be next year - the rating on this page is inaccurate. coming from south-east nassau the entire sachem school system is much better regardless of what this implies.

The teachers are highly dedicated to the students, and it is apparent in all the students do and learn. The Principal is also very responsive and truly a wonderful person with whom to interact. Our family feels fortunate to have our children attend this school.

I love Hiawatha. The principal and teachers are the best. The PTA is also great! All of my kids attended Hiawatha and we couldn't have asked for a better elementary school experience.
