My experience at Lake travis HIgh School has had some ups and downs but it has taught me so much about myself. It has shown me that in a big school you can feel lost and overwhelmed but it also has shown me that when you are yourself and you are confident in yourself you don't need anybody's approval. One thing I would love to see change is having groups that welcome people in and having people who are there to help kids when they are moving into the new schools. Because if i had someone like that it would have made the transition much easier for me.

The culture at Lake Travis High School is predominantly made from rich white kids. If you have different interests, activities, or even clothing you will be made fun of. It gets extremely tiring trying to fit in, just waiting for college so I can be myself. This is what I want to see change in, but unfortunately it's unlikely because of the area we live in.
