I attend Lakeland as a Harrison school for the Arts student. Lakeland is okay it's not the best High school in our area but it's not the worst if you had to choose between lakeland and george jenkins, pick jenkins but between lakeland and kathleen pick lakeland

There is no reason there should be so many school resource officers (SROs / police) on campus in my opinion..

Excellent teachers at honors and AP level. Extremely helpful staff with children who are struggling. Compassionate teachers. Excellent counselors who are always looking out for their students.

My son is a senior at LHS and has received a very good education at this High school. He has had the opportunity to take many AP classes that are not offered at other high schools . He has also been very involved in extracurricular activities. He marched in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York l...

This school is not safe. Read in any paper for details. Some staff seems to have a blind eye. Our daughter went there a few short weeks before we had to put her in another school. Fights and disrespect are rampant. The Harrison students are bullied daily. Look somewhere else, in my opiinion.
