Lamar High School was great to me. I was always actively involved in different organizations on the campus. The parent/community was great because we are a small school in a small community so everyone was treated as family. I wish there were more resources available to the students in our community like other schools in our district but I can say that Lamar is slowly coming along when it comes to advancing its resources.

As a former student athlete at Lamar high school I can say that it is a great high school to attend its small the community is heavily involved we treat each other as family when one of us is going through something we all are there to help out the teachers make sure we learn as much as possible.
