Offers many AP classes to get college credit as well Counselors are not the best Getting your schedule aligned with what you need is difficult Has great opportunities with clubs to get experience with your interest Good independent study program Good programs that you can do all four years of school to earn certificates and special diplomas Has Saturday school to help with studying and getting your absences off of your file Has summer school classes Has inter sessions which can help you bring up your grade if it is low or you just want a better one Doing senior activities is difficult because you have to buy a fall and spring package separate which is pretty pricy Not a lot of field trips unless you're in AVId The school has a lot of students so it's good that they have two lunches to accommodate for the amount of students so all can have a chance to eat Good that seniors can go off campus for lunch Parents are kept well informed via phone call or by email

Lancaster High School is simply another high school in the Antelope Valley School District having a focus on their robotics and football/volleyball teams. I would say the extracurriculars offered here are a strong point, while the overall academics of the school could be improved in general.

They let some new dude in and just booted me to some random class with people I don't even know. And the admin is all "oh well, can't change it"... UM, YES YOU CAN. It's not l...

During my four years of attending Lancaster High School, I could say I've had quite an interesting experience. The teachers here are very hit-or-miss. The adults aren't exactly what I'd deem as "professional'. It is clear a lot of adults try to be buddy-buddy with some students. A lot of teachers ru...

This school handles bullying by telling the child being bullied to go on independent study. Some of the teachers WILL NOT help students when the students ask them for help. The staff is unprofessional in that they gossip about one student to another student. I wish I could put my children in a diffe...

Overall, this school was the worst thing to happen to me. It is full of drugs and violence. I got bullied everyday and the administrators did nothing. There are far better high schools in Lancaster with higher test scores.
