Buford High School has been an overall good experience. I've learned a lot and had some great teachers, and even better friends. It's clear that Buford hires passionate teachers and staff. The downside to my experience at Buford was the lack of opportunity. Neighboring schools have programs like the "focus program" that allow students to mainly study a subject, skill, or sport that they are talented at. I feel that Buford would benefit a lot from a program like this.

I like that Buford High School is small and that it's a close community. I feel like we don't get the improvements we deserve due to being one of the smaller schools in our district.

The school is overall alright. Every school can have improvements, but it isn't the worse. The connection isn't really there and the atmosphere kind of feels like slander, but even then, it gets the job done. Would I recommend? Maybe a 7/10

If I could give a zero I would. The principals do not listen to the students concerns. My child tells me everyday staff looks down on all the kids. I find the teachers I have talked to very rude. Bullying is at an all time high here. My child has dealt with the bullys here all year. Next year my chi...

Bullying is god awful here. My future children won’t be going here. Also clean the school and repaint it. It’s not hard, at least paint the bathrooms there our words all over the place.

I am a 1976 Graduate of Buford High School. I still live in the area and would recommend this school to new folks in our neighborhood.. I can't say as to rather or not they teach great writing and reading skills. However I do know this is the first school in Lancaster to have an Engineering program...

I had the great opportunity to go to Buford Elementary, Buford Middle, and Buford High and I wouldn't change a thing about it. The teachers really care about their students, very supportive teachers!! Great place to go!!
