My child has learning disabilities and did not receive much support until his final year when they were worried, they would not graduate. I had tried to get them support earlier on but nothing much was done to help them learn. I think the food is not healthy. The teachers for the most part have cared greatly, and the problem is with the kids that go here are wildly disrespectful and spoiled. The academics could be more challenging, however. I think public school is a waste of time.

I would like greater involvement by Administration and teachers in terms of Readiness for the future. Many times I say that the things we learn in class prepares for the future but I feel like it is more than just the curriculum what we should be learning as students. Not only should we have greater Readiness for college which are school does not focus on at all students have to find these resources on their own there should be greater sense of community in a greater sense of participation. Our school creates great competition which should not be imposed on students who are trying to learn because competition only allows students to find ways to be others. When we should be working on creating a community atmosphere.

Level of available classes is good i.e. AP, DE, Honors, etc. Sports teams needs some help in areas of coaching and facility upgrades. Need stable teachers and administrators as we are constantly having teachers leave in school year.

For being the highest ranking traditional school in Pasco County, Sunlake leaves much to be desired. Many teachers exhibit serious behavioral concerns towards students, which are constantly reported. Students opinions and concerns are near entirely neglected in favor posting useless polls and assign...

Extremely disappointing experience with the staff and the Principal. Despite numerous emails and phone calls to Principal Kara Merlin, as recommended by the guidance office, in an effort to schedule a meeting regarding an issue with the Patient Care Technician Course enrollment, we never received an...

We transferred to Florida for the 2022-2023 school year and i can honestly say our experience with Sunlake was the worst. As a new student, there was no support, no answers to my repeated emails asking for help, clarifications, help from his guidance counselor etc. Academically he plummeted and got...
