I have a child in the first grade and i feel that he isn't being helped fully when it comes to certain things. He has a learning disability and struggles with reading and finishing things without some extra time. I get notes home saying it took him 30 minutes to complete an assignment or he struggle...

I have one child finishing up third grade and another that attended K-4. As much as I know the teachers work very hard with the students I don't feel either of my children received enough homework. My third grader has a homework packet for the week that he can finish in one evening if he wanted to....

The students could use less time out of school, fewer incidence of substitute teachers when a teacher is on leave, and more integration of classroom activities between above average students and average students,.
