As a past guard employee of the school I do not recommend for African American kids I have videos of the children being bullied unfortunately to say this is a school for mainly white children as that may be when the kids are bullied the school doesn’t care the black kids are being called the n word...

I currently go to this school, I moved from Mount Vernon. The school is large, spacious, and nice. If you plan on moving when you're in 7th or 8th it's hard because everybody has their own clicks. Mostly good teachers, some bad. Very safe. Needs new air conditioning and heating. Socially it’s pretty bad. You don’t learn much. It’s OK.

My son had his best year ever at Hommocks this year. The teachers are wonderful. They are kind and focused on what each students needs. The team format makes the school small. The new principal is a star.
