I've had the best high school years in Cigarroa, the teachers are great, i found some really good friends, love how all the teachers teach a little strict but they teach well

I believe that Cigarroa highschool is a great fit for me personally, but it has a bad reputation against other schools. We are one of the most unfortunate in the aspect of financial help. It does benefit a lot of students in the south side since we could get college dual enrollment classes that save us money later on. We recently had a new facility built so we could tear down the old one since it was breaking down, had infestations, and leakages. I know that Cigarroa is built for more and in the future I believe that it will be one of the most important highschools in Laredo.

My experience with this school has been normal at best but I would like to see the students take care of the school more and for the teachers to care for the students more.

With all due respect to staff and students, this school needs more improvement in order to call it prestigious. It not good nor bad... Teachers should offer a more challenging curriculum in order to prepare students for college. Let's face it college is no walk in the park
