GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience with this school has been normal at best but I would like to see the students take care of the school more and for the teachers to care for the students more.

I have been in Dr.Leo.Cigarroa High School for a semester and the beginning of my senior year. My experience has been quite positive. I wish there were more activities for students. Ive made a handful of friends ever since I got there and have had great teachers. I like that this last year in highschool I am trying to accomplish as much as i can.

With my time here, I have seen at times administration and students often don't care too much for effort. Although, there are a few personnel that put their own work and time for the betterment of their students. Going out of their way to make opportunity's and help those who seek help find it. The overall majority, however, seem to have a minimum effort mindset it seems like.

With all due respect to staff and students, this school needs more improvement in order to call it prestigious. It not good nor bad... Teachers should offer a more challenging curriculum in order to prepare students for college. Let's face it college is no walk in the park
