in my experience with Nixon High School, I loved being there, i was in the cheer team, i had my friend group, it was a good four years. Nixon is very school spirited is one thing i can say for sure!

My experience at J.W. Nixon High School was genuinely the best. I made so many memories and got an incredible amount of support. The school is the highest ranked LISD school which opened up various opportunities for me and my peers.

Being at Nixon for 4 years made me learn a lot about life, not only do teachers teach u but they also teach u about life lessons and stuff neeeded for your future.

Nixon High School has a horrid academic curriculum. For example, the AP U.S. History Class is foregoing their final exam and is opting instead to decorate a cereal box in lieu of an examination to test the students' knowledge of the subject. In my opinion, this is very juvenile on behalf of the teac...
