GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like the environment United High School offered me when I moved there last year. I love the people, teachers, and experiences. But I would like to see some things change, such as the dress code and food served during lunch.

I think UHS is an excellent school for the area we're in. It's not some big city with big city funding, but I think UHS did its best with what they have. The teachers here are 50/50 and can honestly affect how bad or good you do in a class. It's mostly Hispanic here, though, so there's not a lot of diversity. The faculty staff are also pretty ok, not great, but ok. I think I'll be able to look back at this school with fond memories and some bad ones.

My experience in high school was none the less thrilling. I lost myself then I found myself through out the four years of high school. Learned allot about myself dislikes and what not, but I thank God I know what I want to study and pursue.

The UHS school administrators are to be commended on how organized they run this school. My son comes from a small charte...
