The administration losses students 504's and you have to get the district officer to threaten the school befor they take you seriously. As well as it taking days to contact someone about college. Some admin see fights on campus and avoid it till someone else deals with it. Although the science department is outstanding with teachers being nice and help all kids and try to make connections with kids so kids have a safe environment to be in.

Overall a great school. I wish teachers were more committed to their student's successes. I think this school has great math and science teachers. Other subject areas could see improvement in teacher quality. I always feel safe at this school due to our great safety team. I wish the school lunches were better quality.

I'm a junior at Las cruces high school and my first two years were good overall. The best part about las cruces high school I'd say is the school when your attending a nice school then your motivated to go to class and the teacbers are nice most of them dont really give out hard assignments because they know what its like. And they make the class feel comfortable enough for you to be yourself and be able make new friendships. The worst part are long assignments because no one wants to do them but once you start your able to finish them fast enough. If I could change anything about it it would be the lunch but it's not that bad.

This is the most disappointing school Ive ever attended. They claim to care about mental health but when it really hits the fan they tuck their tails and give sorry apologies. Where was that ‘I’m better than you’ energy then? They don’t take bullying seriously in any sense of the word, they’d rather...

They do not address the bullying at this school whatsoever. If the kid who is bullying is in sped they will make it look like the other child is the cause or put the blame on other children.

I graduated from Las Cruces High School in 2012 after transferring from a rather affluent school in Albuquerque where I had been mercilessly harassed and bullied. I absolutely adored Cruces and to this day am thankful that I attended there. Although the school has a (somewhat deserved) reputation fo...
