I have been a student at West Las Vegas District School since elementary. It was a place where the athletics felt like home and the classroom was a place you felt like you fit in. I have had an amazing time there with wonderful people. Some teachers pushed me harder to strive better for myself and I will forever appreciate it.

WLVHS has amazing teachers in very specific departments, but in the majority, the academics aren't very strong. Getting assistance from counselors, secretaries, etc. can be very difficult at times and is often a hassle. Additionally, the food and facilities leave much to be desired and the athletic department could use some work.

With changes comes challenges and it will take time to f...

When we moved to Las Vegas recently, we toured both of the local high schools. I was surprised, after having lived in in a neighboring state my whole life, by how nice this high school was. We enrolled our daughter here, and we were never less than ecstatic about how family-like this school is. My d...
