The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I was terrified of high school as an incoming freshman. A freshman with no friends whatsoever and who would eat lunch in the school bathroom. As the years went by I started to make more friends through sports. Being a 3 sport athlete was not on my high school bucks list but here we are senior year. The best part of my high school career was my sports and how it brought me out of my depressive state when i was a freshman with no friends. I would love to be able to look back at my high school and see the great improvement the sports programs will accomplish one day. I don't think I would be here today if it weren't for sports so I would love for a scared freshman to have the same, if not better, opportunity I had by being able to play sports.

It's an alright school. The staff are helpful, and most teachers are great here. It's just the school itself that is sort of lacking.

I'd say this school is average, it isn't anything to be wowed about. However, it's not terrible either. It's a standard school with standard expectations. The teachers I've had so far in the school are pretty nice and kind. There's always that one teacher though.

As a student who came here for the "magnet program", I was thoroughly dissapointed. The classes are slow, the teachers do not teach well, and the students are not there to learn. Instead of trying to change that the administration just lets it happen. I cannot wait to change schools.

I teach at this school. I think I am a pretty great teacher, and I love my kids, but I can tell you that most teachers at this school are even better than me and love our kids just as much as I do. Our kids are fantastic and we are actively working to increase the number of opportunities for achieve...
