The environment at Silverado is nice, but there should be more active involvement in helping students to apply and be ready to apply for colleges. There was minimal help or understanding from teachers around application season. In addition, there were very few scholarships from the school or much guidance on the matter.

In my 4 year experience at Silverado High School I would say it was just okay overall. Throughout my experience at this school I would say many teachers truly did care for the education of their students while on the other hand many teachers were simply just there, teaching out of a book which would result in low test scores from all the students.

Silverado is overall a great school, there are an infinite amount of resources that the students could use to their own help. Academic help, emotional support, and supplies are all provided through people, tutors, and personal necessity areas . The downsides of Silverado is how the school itself and staff do not attempt to raise their standards and spend the money they receive wisely.

The school only allows 3 bathroom passes per quarter. which shows how the school cares more about making unnecessary rules than their students health and wellbeing. Not using the bathroom frequently enough can cause infection. Maybe they should worry about actually teaching kids instead of tracking...

I don’t recommend your child going here my child was severely bullied and humiliated by staffThe school has a major drug and security problem and kids sneak off campus without a problem the office is rude and the admins are extremely unprofessional some teachers don’t teach most of the kids here hav...

I had an amazing time at this school. Sure it isn’t a private school with top of the line education but I graduated with a 4.1 gpa. I had amazing friends and memory’s. The teachers weren’t amazing but they were decent enough. I didn’t see much at all, or any bullying to any of the special needs kids...
