I like how the school is in general. There many classe's to choose from and many. The school help provide some college course's. The only improvement needed would be the behavior of students. Although the staff and teachers try maintain the school well, part of many situation that occur are through students; finding wrong ways to handle their problems on school campus. Overall it is a good school.

The building is very outdated and impossible to maintain safety. The people are the saving grace of this school.

Laurens High School is located in a rural community with approximately 1,500 students located in Laurens South Carolina. There are many programs offered to students such as Career Education Programs, Honors, Dual-enrollment, a middle college program; and regular CP classes. Laurens District High School also has an athletic program, band, chorus, as well as multiple extra curricular activities.

My kids have been excelling in Laurens HS and I know it's largely in part to the teachers, counselors and classes offered. Caring coaches and principals makes this school above average and creative especially since they are dealing with children living below the poverty lines. I grew up going to sch...
