I graduated in 2017. Lawrence High School has an overall amazing program. Both Academics and Sports are a big part of LHS. I do wish they would have prepared me more for college but otherwise its a great school.

Lawrence high is a great place for students who want a diverse school with a lot of culture and traditions. Several teachers are school alumni who chose to come back to teach. The school has great resources and strives to make sure every student has what they need.

Lawrence High School is a vey diverse school but it is definitely corrupt. There's a lot of rumors surrounding admin and the district itself seems to force diversity. I've personally experienced 3 different principles in the 4 years I've been there and the the rumor is that they'll only hair African American principles so that schools are considered diverse. The environment is very good but I think that's just because the school has history but I can see that things are changing for the worse at Lawrence High School.

This school doesn’t care about lower income students and families and failed all three of my kids

Keeping your kids involved and communicating with them about school and all aspects is important for overall well being of your children. My kids played sports and had a great core friend group.

My boys enjoyed the swim team and took several AP courses. They had several engaging and encouraging teachers. The school was recently refurbished and looks awesome inside. Just as good or better than Free State.

My son and daughter both attended LHS. Excellent teaching staff, particularly in the AP classes. Outstanding orchestra, band and choral programs. Debate and forensics students compete at national levels. Overall, a great experience.
