I think many teachers are not prepared to implement common core. The expectation that working parents attend a common core academy to supplement their classroom teaching is ridiculous, as is over 1 hour of nightly homework.

Abbey Lane is a wonderful school. We are in the district 3 years now and both of my children are thriving and happy. My children's teachers have been caring, nurturing and communicative.

I absolutly agree with the person who stated the school is lucky because thats what they are! If the parents did not work with their children they would be doomed.
