The school is older and run-down. The inside is also too small for the amount of students that attend the school and the school has a distinct unpleasant smell. The teachers are nice and friendly, especially the art teachers. I think the school should be remodeled for the safety and just for the pleasure of the students. The teachers are also very understanding most of the time and are willing to work with students.

Schools send out fees through their bookkeeping department which has nothing to do with a student's performance in a classroom. My son hasn't been there to long. This is his first year but so far he loves it and is happy. He hated Jessie Clark Middle School and he is happy to be at Lafayette. Teachers seem caring and willing to work with the kids.
