I enjoyed my first year at Dunbar; the teachers are very understanding and are there to help me. The teachers here feel like family to me, as they care about my well being.

its truly the people that make the environment good or bad, just find the right crowd, you get a chance for everything so youll never feel left out but you have to get yourself out of your shell which is challenging but as time goes youll see how amazing it is, people are nice here if youre nice towards them, we all respect each other, teachers, admin, staff and students

My experience at Paul Laurence Dunbar has been awesome. I have had great teachers and am in the math science technology center which is a well known accelerated program. I am challenged everyday and the teachers do a great job encouraging me and helping me get better.

This school has a great teaching staff - for the most part they are very committed and involved - we have several very exceptional teachers! The opportunities for student involvement are great.
