GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Lexington High School is an overall decent school. It's not very diverse or accepting when it comes to people of other races. Therefore this school may be difficult for those of minorities. Most teachers are ignorant to racial offenses as well as let students be racially inappropriate to most students.

I had an overall good experience at Lexington High School. Other than having a few teachers over the past four years that I disliked, the majority of the teachers here are amazing. The majority of them seem like they actually care about you as an individual and not as a grade or statistic to being a level five school.

Lexington High School is an astounding school. I went there all 4 years and have received a great education. I walked in to high school thinking I would go to college to study to become a teacher. Not that there is anything wrong with teaching, I found out that it was not for me. I am going to be studying Social Work when I do reach college. At first, when I started high school, I was a shy girl that stayed to herself mainly, but now, I have grown to be outgoing. I am not scared to stand in front of people, talk to new faces, and just be silly at times.

the principal is not good, he insults his staff and is two faced. The school is on a downward path.
