The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Being at Liberty for almost 4 years, I've had wonderful experiences with teachers and most students. There has been some wrongs with teachers and students but you get that in every school you go to. They have wonderful academics helping me gain not only 1 but 2 academic varsity letters so far. I'd recommend Liberty to any family who is moving to the KC area.

Horrible experience with athletics The coaches are arrogant and pick kids for sports by social status not athletic ability. My student is not even trying out for sports due to the lack of attention and support from former coaches. 2 years in high school and already he is wanting to change schools because of the lack of diversity in the sports program Disgusting coming from a town we grew up in

Prepared me for college and had really good extracurricular activities. There are some amazing faculty and some terrible, so that can be kinda hit or miss. You get out of the classes what you put in.

Liberty High School grew a lot in the three years that I was there. Every one if the teachers in the school was there to help you you and grow into a mature adult.
