They are so terrible. The staff even spread rumors about you and don't think about the consequences. The school also doesn't get involved with the kids as much.

The school only cares about test scores. Student are "passing " to the next grade with A/B grades but can't spell, read or write correctly. Most can't spell simple words much less form a paragraph. This school district is a detriment to our children and our children are suffering tremendously.

Amite County High School is a great place to make life-long friends. I have been in the Amite County School District my entire life, and I have to say I wouldn't trade it for the world. The teacher help you one on one if needed, and they are also very down to earth people. If I had to change one thing about the school, it would be the dress code that is enforced upon the student body.

achs is a really good school in my eyes... I am a student and yes, we are not perfect, but we do our best. Any student who wants to succeed, can. I don't feel like it is fair that we are judged because of where our school is located. Liberty, Ms. is a great, rural town where everybody knows everybod...
